I'm a huge fan of Little People Big World and this is just like it, except the people aren't real and there is not a twin brother who got the tall genes-what a douche bag. This is street art by Jerry Niemi and it is divine. It makes me feel like I am at the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" park in Orlando. What a good movie that was. I shall watch that soon. There has got to be a good drinking game for that movie. I propose that the rule be that whenever the dad says the title line, you finish all your alcohol.

Oh hot damn! At first glance I thought these were paintings. Well...they are, but they aren't at the same time. These are Alexa Meade's creation, a 23 year old who lives in DC. Damn, am I behind or what! She works in what is called Trompe-L'Oeil. In this method she takes a three dimensional object and reduces it to two dimensions. Impressive huh? Now if I could just hire her and a person to constantly live in my house so I could have a living piece of artwork. Of course, I would feed them, but a strict diet of 500 calories a day. Since they will be standing in one position forever, I don't want them getting fat.

Porcelain's Cumback

Porcelain seems to be making a cumback. I use to hear about porcelain more in conversation of Nicole Kidman and her skin, rather than the actual art of. This creepy creations are from Kate MacDowell. Her work is very comparable to Baroque sculptors, such as Bernini. I can definitely see her work proudly displayed on one wall of my New York penthouse.
