These instillations are done by a Brooklyn artist,
Mathilde Roussel-Giraudy. Like many artists, here art is meant to question the human. I love the first piece. It is called "floating memory," and it is made of 40 handkerchiefs from her grandmother. Each one of them represents a memory. It is suspended in air and a fan blows beneath it to create rolling waves. I love it when artists incorporate personal items. Now that pillow, I would NOT want to sleep on that. It looks like it would turn my neck in all the wrong ways. And I need my beauty rest!
