Delicate, gorgeous, dainty, and white have all been used to describe me, but it also describes the work of Cheong-ah Hwang, a Korean paper artist who is self taught.
Bert Simons is the sculptor of these heads. He uses photographs of real people and modifies the picture so that it can be folded into a 3-D image.
As you can see, paper is no longer for writing. Besides, writing on paper was boring and dangerous. I would love to have one of Bert Simons's heads hung over my mantle like a dear head. I don't hunt animals, just men (Manhunt joke?) Anyway, next time you wipe your ass or write something useless down, think of the better potential that roll of toilet paper had.
Over and Out,
